Template glued to the sheet
metal.  I used 3M spray
adhesive.
Cutting the 4130 sheet.  Right,
straight, left aviation snips.  Buy
quality and buy all 3, you will
use them.... alot!
Cut,cut,cut...

Repeat,repeat,repeat....

A plasma cutter or bandsaw
would make this easier.
I found on the long runs that the
snips need to be rotated slightly
clockwise.  I also jam the bottom
handle into my hip and shove.
Gloves protect from the other
edges.  Plan on spending some
time on this step if using snips.
I bent the first 90 degree angle in
a bench vise with a hammer.
The second side was more
difficult.  Used 2 scraps of angle
iron with spacers between them.
Just add hammer!

I only did this for the rudder ribs.
Since I do not have a sheet
metal brake, I had the rest of the
ribs bend at a metal shop.
Parts just picked up from the
bender.
Used paint thinner to remove
adhesive and labels.  Soak for 5
mins, pull off paper, and wipe
with a rag.  I then relabeled with
a marker.
